Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Sear pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add chicken broth, heavy cream, paprika, and dried thyme. Stir well.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Return pork chops to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, spooning sauce over them.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
