Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 8 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • Crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Gently muddle the mint leaves and simple syrup in a julep cup or glass to release the mint’s aroma.
  2. Fill the cup with crushed ice.
  3. Pour the bourbon over the ice.
  4. Stir the mixture until the outside of the cup feels frosty.
  5. Top with more crushed ice if needed and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
