Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or deep skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and milk, stirring to combine.
  4. Add uncooked pasta, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
