Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten (for egg wash)
  • Green bell pepper stems (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough and use a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter to cut out an even number of shapes.
  3. On half of the pumpkin cutouts, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, and top with mini pepperoni slices.
  4. Cover each topped pumpkin with another dough cutout. Press the edges together with a fork to seal.
  5. Brush each pumpkin with egg wash and use a knife to lightly carve pumpkin lines on top (optional).
  6. Place a small piece of green bell pepper at the top for a pumpkin stem.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
