Ingredients

  • 5 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp instant yeast
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups warm water (about 110°F)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F. Grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Add warm water and oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–6 minutes until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough in half and shape into loaves. Place each loaf into a greased pan.
  6. Turn off the oven and place pans inside to rise for 20–25 minutes or until doubled in size.
  7. Turn the oven back on to 350°F and bake the bread for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from pans and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
