Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 red chili, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and white pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
  4. Dip the chicken pieces into the egg mixture, then coat them in the flour mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove the chicken and drain on paper towels.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and red chili slices before serving.
