Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Place pork chops in the slow cooker.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and minced garlic.
  4. Pour the sauce over the pork chops.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender.
  6. Remove pork chops and set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water.
  7. Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce in the slow cooker and stir well.
  8. Turn slow cooker to HIGH and cook uncovered for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  9. Return pork chops to the slow cooker and spoon sauce over top.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
