Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Toss to coat.
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a few strawberry pieces on each triangle and roll up, starting from the wide end.
Arrange dumplings in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar, then pour over the dumplings.
Pour the lemon-lime soda around the dumplings (not over the top).
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
