Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss them in a bowl with baking powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings on the rack in a single layer. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, sriracha, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Transfer baked wings to a large bowl. Pour the sauce over and toss until fully coated.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, if desired. Serve immediately.
