Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
Pour melted butter into the bottom of the pan and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.
Arrange sliced apples over the brown sugar layer.
Separate cinnamon rolls and set icing aside. Place rolls on top of the apple layer.
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Cool for 5–10 minutes before inverting onto a plate. Drizzle with reserved icing and serve warm.
